In 1.956 Empresa Industrial Nacional de Vidrios y Espejos, C.A. (Inveca) began operations in its own property land of 1.200 square meters in los Cortijos de Lourdes, Caracas, Venezuela. Its main activity was the manufacturing of mirrors and security laminated glass.

At the end of the 1.950’s decade, a Joint Venture with Pittsburgh Plate Glass (PPG) is formed, with the purpose of manufacturing laminated curved glass. Negotiations finished in 1.963, when the venture, named INVECA PITTSBURGH, C.A. was founded.
Locates since then at the Industrial Zone of Las Tejerias, Aragua State, in our solely awned property land of 2.600 sq. meters, and buildings (today of 22.000 sq. meters). We today operate as a partnership Joint Venture with PPG Industries, Inc., from whom we receive all of our technical support, as well as commercial and managerial.
